NAMI | NAMIWALKS

NAMI Northern California Well our Inagural Walk on April 24, 2010, was a huge success. We had 60 teams and approximately 750 walkers. Our sponsors, team captains and walkers helped us to raise over $80,000 for NAMI Affiliates in El Dorado, Sacramento, San Joaquin and Yolo Counties. What a fantastic outcome for our very first effort. In addition to thanking all of our walkers and sponsors, we are grateful to many folks who came out as volunteers to help set-up, coordinate registration, serve the walkers, and clean up the park. And to those entertainers and speakers who made the Walk a very special family event. Now we begin the process of planning for next year.
