Team Page: Kelly Thomas Memorial Team
|
Welcome to the Kelly Thomas Memorial Team page for NAMIWalks for the Mind of America. I have created this fundraising page because NAMI, and the work they do, is very important to me. NAMI helped educate my parents when I was diagnosed at 19, and this will be my third year attending the walk. I have dedicated my team to Kelly Thomas, a homeless schizophrenic man who was beaten in to a coma on July 5, 2011 by Fullerton PD and passed away on July 10th, 2011 due to the severe beating. There are many other ways to show support for Kelly Thomas and his family - please visit ktmf.org for more info.
Donating to our team through this page is easy, fast and secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor the Kelly Thomas Memorial Team. ANY AMOUNT MAKES A DIFFERENCE!
Both NAMI and the Kelly Thomas Memorial Team appreciate your donation. Thank you for your support!! It is FREE to join the Kelly Thomas Memorial Team, all funds collected in support for the team will be donated to NAMI to further educate and assist those with Mental Illness.
