Welcome to my personal web page for NAMIWalks for the Mind of America. I have created this fundraising page because NAMI, and the work they do, is very important to me.
Donating to me through this page is easy, fast and secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me. Any amount will make a difference for NAMI, but please try to give generously.
As you all know, I've battled severe mental illness for most of my life, but have been successful nonethless. I have a wonderful wife, two fantastic daughters, and a great job as a Professor of Law at the Louis D. Brandeis School of Law at the University of Louisville. I support, and am on the Board of Directors of, NAMI of Louisville because it works to help people with mental illness and their loved ones regardless of their situation in life. I hope you will either walk yourself, raising money for NAMI of Louisville in the process, or else donate to my team. Together we can make a difference! My picture shows me with my dear friend Professor Elyn R. Saks of the Gould School of Law at the University of Southern California, the other law professor in the United States publicly to acknowledge having a severe mental illness.
