A message from Cara:

Each of us lost someone dear and beloved to us when on January 4, 2008, Ann Potocki decided life had become to difficult to bear.

Ann's sister-in-law, Ashley Potocki, came up with the idea to walk in memory of Ann. Ashley also knew that many people want to donate money in Ann's memory. My sister, Claudia, told me about NAMI.org.

So here we are, forming a team to walk in memory of Ann. Please join us in San Diego this April 2008 in person or in spirit.

There is one other reason we selected the NAMI.org walk. It's easy to make donations to a very worthy cause. For me, this is one way I will make some sense of the tragedy of losing Ann. The donations will go to NAMI.org. It's my hope that somewhere in the future better medications will be developed to help people suffering from a mental illness.

You can donate directly to NAMI.org or any walker on our team. Donating through the website is easy, fast and secure. Any amount will make a difference for NAMI.

We appreciate your donation. Thank you for your support.

Bless you Annie wherever you are.
