Hi This is my very own web page for NAMIWalks for the Mind of America. NAMI( The National Alliance for the Mentally Ill) represents those members of society whom I feel are truly without a voice, unless we provide one for them. These are individuals with serious and chronic brain disorders,for example, bipolar, schizoaffective disorder or depression. Far too often we see these individuals on our streets in San Diego, very ill with no medical care, shelter,or support. NAMI is an organization which advocates for the mentally ill as well as providing support and education for family members and the community. It also supports research efforts and attempts to assist individuals with these diseases to find employment, housing,and other social supports in effort to help them become more independant. These individuals deperately need our help.I have created this fundraising page because NAMI, and the work they do, has been very important to me and my family members for many years. Donating to me through this page is easy, fast and secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me.Any amount that you can afford will make a difference for NAMI.
