A message from "Sars":

Welcome to my personal web page for NAMIWalks for the Mind of America. I have created this fundraising page because NAMI, and the work they do, is very important to me.

Donating to me through this page is easy, fast and secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me. Any amount will make a difference for NAMI, but please try to give generously.

Both NAMI and I appreciate your donation. Thank you for your support.

The above is the standard message. Don't feel obligated to donate! As most of you know, I'm a nurse at a Mental Health Hospital. (Sharp Mesa Vista Hospital) NAMI is a great organization that helps people with Mental Illnesses, as well as their loved ones. The patients and a lot of the staff get really into the NAMI Walk San Diego every year & it really is great to see everyone get so motivated & try so hard to work together to organize the Sharp team for this walk and fundraising. This is the first year I've decided to join them and walk, and I just decided today.(Yea, the walk is tomorrow) No pressure to donate at all, I just thought I'd shoot some emails out just in case. It's a Saturday morning and I don't have to raise funds to walk. (I've been buying raffle tickets, used books, etc. at work to donate money for the cause) If you know anyone with a mental illness, NAMI can be a great resource. Many of our patients love NAMI and I believe the organization truly loves them back! C-ya! Sars
