Sen. Bob Spada, M.B.A.
Bob Spada is a member of the NAMI Board of Directors. Bob, a retired senator from Ohio, is a member of NAMI Greater Cleveland, and the past president of the NAMI Ohio Board of Directors.
Bob found NAMI when his son was diagnosed with a serious mental illness. He and his family continue to help others through their ongoing volunteer activities. He hopes that his service with the Board will further NAMI’s efforts to eliminate stigma associated with mental illness.
Bob’s strengths lie in accounting, finance, investing and legislative, and he plans to put that experience to good use in driving NAMI’s mission forward.
Bob earned his B.B.A. in Accounting from Cleveland State University and his M.B.A. in Systems Management from Baldwin Wallace University.
For the 2016-2017 NAMI Board term, Bob will serve as the Chair of the Finance Committee, and as a member of the Executive, Development and Policy Committees.
