Finance and Human Resources
Laura Kiel was recruited by NAMI to assist with bookkeeping and human resources activities. She enjoys being a support for the NAMI staff.
Laura has previously worked with Prison Fellowship Ministries, International Alliance for Interoperability, Capital Planning and Investments and various preschools in Fairfax and Loudoun Counties. She holds a B.S. in psychology and a minor in office administration from James Madison University, and a bookkeeping certification from Northern Virginia Community College.
What piece of your work at NAMI are you most proud of?
I oversaw the smooth transition of the NAMI retirement plan from TIAA to Principal Securities this year.
What’s something about you that would surprise others?
I love working on my needlework, reading and photography!
