Will Jarred is a veteran brand marketing strategist with over 25 years of experience in public, private and nonprofit organizations domestically and globally. Most recently, Will was senior communications fellow for Digital Promise, where he launched Learner Positioning Systems, an online platform to make learning personal for all.
Previously, he was associate executive director of marketing, communications and development for the National Association of Elementary School Principals, where he led all aspects of the member experience, including membership services, publications, digital marketing and strategic partnerships. Prior to NAESP, Will spent 17 years in educational publishing, working for several global organizations including Cricket Media and Pearson. He holds a B.A. in Communications from James Madison University.
What piece of your work at NAMI are you most proud of?
I am most proud of the talented, dedicated team of professionals within my team and throughout the organization. I’m inspired on a daily basis by the personal stories of lived experiences and how those experiences have shaped their commitment to achieving our shared mission.
Who inspires you?
I am inspired by the power of networks and volunteerism as catalysts for positive change. It’s why I believe so firmly in the mission of NAMI and why I’m committed to join the fight to help end the silence and stigma of mental illness.
