What piece of your work at NAMI are you most proud of?

I’m most proud of my oversite of and contributions to a new NAMI Peer-to-Peer course. This powerful recovery education program is life-changing, as it will help participants gain the skills, education and support they need to live well with a mental health condition.

What’s something about you that would surprise others?

I maintain a regular mindfulness practice and I attend silent retreats. I’m trained in Compassionate Listening, a practice that helps me create a safe space for others to express themselves and move towards resolving conflict.
