What piece of your work at NAMI are you most proud of?
I am proud to be working with some of the most passionate and dedicated people helping to improve the lives of those affected by mental illness. I find my colleagues to be the most flexible, lifelong learners who can take on multiple roles—far beyond what’s in their job descriptions.
Who inspires you?
I am inspired by my daughter. She pushes me to be a better mother and a better human being. She has helped grow my capacity for compassion, patience and empathy.
