A link to join ZOOM meeting will be emailed to you. You will only need to register once and then a reminder will be emailed to you prior to each meeting. The Zoom ID # and code remain the same for every meeting starting November 3, 2022 through October 12, 2023.
NAMI Connection is a recovery support group exclusively for adults living with a mental health condition that provides a place that offers respect, understanding, encouragement and hope. The group is a peer-led support group (led by NAMI-trained facilitators who are in recovery themselves) who understand the daily challenges. The group is confidential-attendees may share as much or as little personal information as they wish.

NAMI Ending the Silence

Three different programs for three different target audiences:
-NAMI Ending the Silence for Students: 50-minute presentation designed for middle and high school students that includes warning signs, facts and statistics and how to get help for themselves or a friend. Research has shown that NAMI Ending the Silence for Students is effective in changing middle and high school students' knowledge and attitudes toward mental health conditions and toward seeking help
-NAMI Ending the Silence for School Staff: 1-hour presentation for school staff members that includes information about warning signs, facts and statistics, how to approach students and how to work with families
-NAMI Ending the Silence for Families:
1-hour presentation for adults with middle or high school aged youth that includes warning signs, facts and statistics, how to talk with your child and how to work with school staff
The presentation will be given by one of our Lead Presenters and one of our Young Adult Presenters.
The Lead Presenter will cover information on Mental Health provided by NAMI National, and our Young Adult Presenter will touch on some of his real life experiences with Mental Health.
There will be some time allocated for questions.

NAMI Family Support Group

Virtual Zoom: every Monday, 6:30-8 pm unless a holiday or an Education Meeting is scheduled.
In-Person: only on 3rd Mondays of the month, 6:30-8 pm

After clicking the link, select the meeting date, click Tickets, click Register, complete contact information, answer two questions, click Register. You will be sent a confirmation email.
Those attending FSG in person at the Garnet Health Community Education Center, 420 E. Main Street, Middletown, NY are to mask during the entirety of your time in the building. Additionally, you must provide either proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test from the past 24 hours. It should also be noted that if you have been in recent contact with someone who tested positive within the last 48 hours, you should join via Zoom.
Remember, in-person meets only on the 3rd Monday of the month.
