Dr. Primm is a community psychiatrist and the Steve Fund's Senior Medical Director. She has also served as Deputy Medical Director of the American Psychiatric Association and Director of the Johns Hopkins Hospital Community Psychiatry Program. She is an editor of the books “Disparities in Psychiatric Care” and “Women in Psychiatry: Personal Perspectives” as well as a lecturer on the topic of mental health of diverse and underserved populations.
