Mr. Gordon is the founding principal of Gordon/Barash Associates, Inc., a full service financial advisory group specializing in community economic development, outsource CFO services, financial structuring, capital acquisition, strategic planning and crisis management.

Mr. Gordon served for seven years as Senior Vice President and Chief Credit Officer at Founders National Bank of Los Angeles (FNBLA), now known as OneUnited Bank. One of the four members of the senior management group, Mr. Gordon was the architect of the Credit Administration Division. Prior to FNBLA, he held positions as Vice President & Manager of the Century City office of Capital Bank of California and Vice President & Senior Account Manager at the South Bay Business Banking Center of Crocker National Bank, among others.

Mr. Gordon currently serves on the boards and is treasurer of NAMI Urban Los Angeles and The Biddy Mason Charitable Foundation. He is a member of the National Black MBA Association, Sigma Pi Phi Fraternity and Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. He formerly served on the Board of Trustees of First African Methodist Episcopal Church, and he was a co-founder of the Richard Allen Men’s Society.

He holds a B.A. in Economics from Texas Southern University, Houston and an MBA in Finance and Marketing from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana.
