Kerry Graves is a member of the NAMI Board of Directors and serves as the Executive Director of NAMI Metropolitan Baltimore in Maryland.

As executive director, Graves has led strategic initiatives to expand culturally responsive mental health programs and strengthen community partnerships. In her tenure with NAMI Metro Baltimore, Graves has more than doubled the number of individuals served annually by the affiliate, launched new youth programs and initiatives, and expanded the affiliate’s capacity to serve a broader territory.

 

Graves has over 15 years of experience working for various health-advocacy nonprofits including the American Diabetes Association and ALS Association, where she served in leadership and fund development roles. Grave’s leadership is marked by her deep empathy, strategic vision, and a collaborative approach. She is known for her ability to mobilize community resources and champion innovative solutions that address the needs of individuals and families affected by mental illness.

 

Graves additionally serves as a Board Member on the Baltimore City Workforce Development Board, where she serves as Chair of the Public Policy committee. Graves has been recognized as a Top 100 Women in Maryland honoree by the Daily Record, as a Women Who Mean Business honoree by the Baltimore Business Journal, and as a Healthcare Hero by the Baltimore Business Journal. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree from East Carolina University.
