Jack and Jill of America, Inc.

NAMI is proud to partner with Jack and Jill of America, Inc. Starting in 2017, our organizations are coming together to increase mental health awareness in African American communities across the country.

Jack and Jill of America, Inc., is a membership organization of mothers with children ages 2 – 19, dedicated to nurturing future African American leaders by strengthening children through leadership development, volunteer service, philanthropic giving and civic duty. More than 11,000 active members in 238 chapters implement annual program activities to strengthen local communities. Learn more about Jack and Jill of America.

As part of this partnership, NAMI State Organizations and Affiliates will work with Jack and Jill chapters to educate local communities about mental health in a variety of ways, including raising awareness through NAMIWalks, NAMI’s signature public awareness event.

In addition, you can download and print NAMI's Sharing Hope: An African American Guide to Mental Health booklet. You can also order professionally printed copies of this resource.
