Katrina Gay Chief Development OfficerStrategic Alliances and DevelopmentEmail Katrina Gay provides leadership, direction and coordination for all fundraising strategies that enable support for the organization’s vital work while advancing NAMI’s goals and strategic priorities. She works to identify, evaluate, champion and execute opportunities to encourage philanthropic relationships, gift planning, sponsorships, partnerships and cause marketing. She maintains a portfolio that includes cross-sector corporate partnerships, influencer ambassador initiatives, and individual philanthropic and institutional donors. In addition, she lead’s NAMI’s partnership efforts in the film, art, music, entertainment and sports arenas. Since 1997, Katrina has represented NAMI in various capacities, including National Director of Communications & Public Affairs. Katrina has participated in the White House Conference on Mental Health and has served on multiple international collaboratives, committees, coalitions and advisory boards. She has received peer acknowledgements, including national awards, for her work in strategic communications. What piece of your work at NAMI are you most proud of? I am honored to serve the Alliance and the NAMI mission in helping to build and encourage an American mental health movement. Who inspires you? I am inspired by the many individuals and families affected by mental health conditions who give tirelessly to NAMI and support this vital cause in ways large and small.
