Ashlynn McNeeley: What I wish people knew about Borderline Personality Disorder
I feel everything so intensely, it's like having this thin skin, but these things are not always there you can work on them. You can get better. I have a fiancé, two dogs, and am a psychiatric nurse. At NAMI, we are more than a statistic; we are open and honest about our lives.
There is treatment, and there is help. These symptoms will last through the rest of my life, but that doesn't mean I change my life. I just do things differently.
