I've been suffering on this path of self destruction my whole life and all I crave is for social acceptance and to contribute to society. I want to stop being afraid of the world and to know how to be completely aware of my surroundings and how to integrate them into my life so I stop having negative episodes and problems with authority.

I am 48 and I have been diagnosed with depression, anxiety, bipolar, and I believe its a wrong diagnoses. I am going to be asking my doctors about this. I am convinced I have multiple personalities but they have just come forward over the past few years. Can anyone tell me why the personalities would just now appear? Could it be that I self medicated to the extent I didnt realize this?, could it be that it was beat into submission or is the abuse I suffered enough to finally triggered them? I am seriously thinking about checking into the ATU but I scared

I have believed for many years that I am ADHD. Approximately 15 years ago I took numerous tests with a psycologist in Austin to diagnose it for sure. His dianosis was BPD, which I totally dismissed. I now feel perhaps he was right. Where can I find someone in San Marcos, TX that can address this for me?

Maybe you can answer my concern regarding my search for the right therapist, I have a very misunderstood illness which in sure you know as BPD. I see the world completely different from those who do not suffer from it. I need someone who I can trust... Immedediatly or i loss intreast trying and 2 years later still doing self destructive, confused, stressed and defeated life! How can I find someone who want judge me, who understands my actions.. No matter HOW bad, isn't always in my control. I seriously wish I could! I could be so successful if I was. I have drive, dedications to those whom I love... I live for others more than for myself.. As weird as that sounds, it keeps me in the game.. Never to quit no matter how tired I am of my exhausting life. I'm here now though, looking to get off this ride, surrender to asking for help. Thanks!

My brother who is a veteran, has been battling with a mental illness schizophrenia for over a decade. My mother mostly has been supporting him (mentally) and helping him. He is getting very aggressive and I am worried that he might get my father even more sick. My father suffers from a weak heart every since his heart attack. He is rude and aggressive to all guest who come to my mom's house. No one will rent to him because he has burned down 2 houses now, and they won't put him in prison. Not that I want him there, No one will take him because he is aggressive. I need help in finding a way to help my parents with my brother. It takes money, but they do not have that kind of money. Asking for your help and support on this issue.
