Media Partnerships | NAMI

To broaden NAMI’s reach, we occasionally partner with other organizations and media outlets on content that provides needed information about mental health to the masses. This allows us to spread awareness on key topics and make mental health information more accessible to all.

Check out these films from our media partners:

  • Correctional Officers De-escalation Education (CODE)
The film includes interviews with inmates sharing their stories of living with mental illness in prisons, correctional officers’ experiences working with inmates with mental illness and enacted scenarios that showcase techniques for how correctional officers can assist inmates struggling with mental health symptoms.
  • Sony Pictures Classics: The Son
“The Son” tells the story of a family torn apart by divorce and a boy who shows troubling signs of mental illness and an inability to cope. Millions of real families face similar situations every year, but too often they don’t recognize the warning signs.
