NextGen Director NAMI Board of Directors
EmailDavy Yue is a NextGen director for the NAMI National Board and member of NAMI Palm Beach County.
Davy has volunteered with NAMI PBC as a NAMIWalks Committee member in logistics/sponsorship, In Our Own Voice presenter, Young Adults Connections support group facilitator, and Education & Outreach Committee member.
He has supported NAMI Florida’s conference planning committee and served as a helpline specialist for the NAMI National Helpline. In 2023, Davy advised NAMI National through NAMI Next Gen to support recoverys of countless young adults across the nation – spearheading conference sessions, back-to-school efforts, cross-sector projects, and resource development cycles.
Davy first engaged with NAMI programs when seeking support for his own recovery. Upon transforming the arc of his own wellness story and resilience strategies, Davy now works to support others with stories of lived experiences just like himself.
Davy works as a strategic consultant who partners with mental health nonprofit organizations to convert visionary concepts into high-impact, measurable programs. With expertise in systems thinking, data analytics, and human-centered design, he develops scalable solutions reflecting shared leadership in lived experience. He has presented his recovery story and perspective at summits and conferences including NAMICon, Active Minds’ main stage, Schizophrenia & Psychosis Action Alliance, NIDILRR, New Leaders Council, as a keynote speaker at Tennessee Healthy Transitions Summit, and more.
Davy looks forward to engage in compelling long-term impact for young adults across biopsychosocial recovery, building meaningful spaces for people living with more-stigmatized mental health conditions to be understood, heard, and recognized.
Davy earned his Bachelor of Science in Engineering Science, with focuses on Management and Computer Science, from Vanderbilt University. He loves painting, playing his alto sax, and folding origami as a metaphor for wellness.
