NAMI Names 2021 Scientific Research Award Honorees

Gail Daumit, M.D., MHS, FACP, and A. Eden Evins, M.D., MPH, will receive the NAMI 2021 Scientific Research Award for their tireless work in the mental health field. They will join an outstanding group of researchers who exemplify our theme of Inspiring Hope Through Research.

The NAMI Scientific Research Award is supported by the Peter Corbin Kohn Endowment. The Award recognizes the work of researchers who move our scientific understanding and treatment of mental illness forward. NAMI remains deeply committed to research as part of our mission and is excited to showcase the work of Drs. Daumit and Evins at our hybrid in-person and live-streaming event on Oct. 6, 2021.
