Glenda Wrenn Gordon, M.D., MSHP, is a member of the NAMI Board of Directors and an Associate Professor of Clinical Psychiatry at Morehouse School of Medicine. She also serves as the Medical Director of Clinical Integration at Mindoula. She lives in Decatur and is a member of NAMI Georgia.

She brings both medical expertise and a passion for building community and individual empowerment to address mental health needs.  

Glenda was the founding director of the Kennedy Satcher Center for Mental Health Equity where she developed mental health policy and research initiatives. She is a board-certified adult psychiatrist and a nationally recognized leader of efforts to advance mental health equity.

She has authored or co-authored many published works, most recently “Racial and Ethnic Disparities in Treatment and Treatment Type for Depression in a National Sample of Medicaid Recipients.” In 2020, Glenda received the NAMI Psychiatrist of the Year Award.
